First time Homebuyer Program
The First Time Homebuyer Program is an easy way to help first time home buyers purchase a home. Down Payment Assistance Grant Program helps first time homebuyers with low-to-moderate income obtain subsidy or gap financing in the form of a second and third 0% mortgage to help them achieve their American Dream. The subsidy ranges from $45,000 to $75,000. Gap financing ranges from $5,000 to $15,000. New Construction & Rehab Program has helped to develop new construction and rehab projects throughout the Northwest Riviera Beach area, and has worked closely with builders to include quality designs and landscaping in houses that are still affordable to our clients. Our Services Include: Pre- Qualification As the first step in the home buying process, Northwest Riviera Beach CRC staff carefully assesses each individual to determine readiness and ability to qualify for a mortgage loan. Credit/Budget Counseling We offer one-on-one counseling for credit repair and budgeting. Homebuyer Workshops We offer monthly homebuyer workshops to first-time homebuyers. We offer ten classes in English and two classes in Creole. The workshops cover the home-buying process, pre- and post- closing issues, mortgages qualification, and grants.
